Objectives:

  • Visualize Airbnb listings in Vancouver to help a client make an informed decision on where to buy an investment property.

Key Findings:

  • Victoria is the most frequently booked Neighborhood for Airbnb rentals at 30%
  • Victoria listings also have one of the highest average rental prices, meaning client can charge more
  • Vast majority of those rentals (almost 10 times) are Entire Home rentals

Objectives:

  • Comprehensive analysis of global Covid-19 data to visualize infections per Country, total deaths and death rate.

Key Findings:

  • Europe had by far the highest number of deaths by Continent, despite Asia having a significantly higher population
  • Covid has a 0.9% death rate currently when looking at those infected.

  • Saved headers and data from table to create a Pandas dataframe.

  • Designed a Raspberry Pi device that tracks fridge contents using machine vision.
  • Detection algorithm trained using YOLO with a Darknet CNN backbone achieved a 83 \% accuracy.
